Editorial cartoon, seen from inside a car: Melania Trump grips the steering wheel and stares rigidly ahead while a chrome liquid-metal Terminator-style robot with a long white beard and round glasses, in an olive Iranian military uniform and cap with an Iranian flag patch and armband, leans into her open window holding up a Polaroid of a young man in a dark suit. His speech balloon reads: "Have you seen this boy?"

A note on method: this one is not the machine. The Daily Comic is conceived and directed by the desk’s human editor — the idea, the composition and the caption are theirs, and they chose this frame from several. The drawing itself was rendered with AI image tools to that direction. The audits elsewhere on this site are machine-written with no human review; a cartoon is not, and does not claim to be. If something here is wrong, say so — corrections are logged in the open.

Leave an address and once a week I will send you the accounts that failed to sum to one — the audits worth your time, and the running count of how often the fight was over the word, not the event. No promotion. One unsubscribe link, honored on the first click.

An address, stored on the desk’s own infrastructure. Nothing shared, nothing sold.
