Sausage is the 1988 Primus lineup — Claypool, Todd Huth, Jay Lane — finally recorded in 1994. Groove-first, less metal, more Bay Area funk-psych. If Primus is a cartoon about fishermen, this is the same cartoon drawn in pencil.
It is one of the most useful hops in the whole map: from here you can walk back into early Primus, or forward into the Frog Brigade, where Huth and Lane show up again.
