Trump to sign executive order renaming Gulf of Mexico today

Trump will make good on his promise to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, as he floated in a news conference earlier this month.

A preview of the order, first obtained by the New York Post, said both the Gulf of Mexico and Mount Denali will be renamed, with the latter reverting back to its previous name, Mount McKinley.

Trump first mentioned the "Gulf of America" on Jan. 7, saying, "What a beautiful name, and it's appropriate."
