President Donald Trump held court on Wednesday with several cryptocurrency and finance leaders for an event on digital assets.

The meeting in the Roosevelt Room of the White House coincided with one held by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's Innovation Advisory Committee, which focuses on matters of technology and finance.

The president kicked off the meeting by listing his administration's accomplishments on the issue.

"We're ensuring that America remains the undisputed leader, not only in Bitcoin and crypto but also technologies like prediction markets, artificial intelligence, and much more," Trump said.
