Police Dismiss False Arrest Claims Against Mundubile

The Zambia Police Service has dismissed as false and misleading social media allegations claiming that Mr. Brian Mundubile has been arrested and detained in police custody.

Police Public Relations Officer Godfrey Chilabi clarified that the allegations should be disregarded by members of the public, stressing that Mr. Mundubile has not been arrested.

The Service has urged citizens to refrain from creating, sharing, or circulating unverified information, particularly during the sensitive post-election period.

Mr. Chilabi further warned that any person who deliberately creates or circulates false information intended to mislead the public may face legal action in accordance with the law.
