You know, I went to Minneapolis, was on the ground standing with these people. You were certainly fired up last week about Maine. Yeah, and being fired up, like showing some emotion. I mean, talking about, I mean, it broke my heart to read the story of the young father, Yeah, two jobs. And girl dad like me. you know, of a... And I know what it means to have a girl always ask, hey, when's daddy going to be home? Even if you're a boy dad, you don't deserve to die senselessly. Do you think the American voter realizes that this immigration crackdown is ramping up in all different states? Unless it's in your backyard, a lot of people might not know. Well, that's a real question. And you know, I wrote a piece for The Times about why celebrities should speak up about politics. And one of the reasons is because the mainstream media is smaller than it's ever been. And the algorithm, you know, what it chooses to elevate. And again, we don't have any transparency because there's no real, you know, there's no legislation about regulation about this. So we don't really know. But a lot of times local news is not elevated. And so you only see what is, you know, you don't necessarily see that at the national level. But the Americans people are demanding more answers. Like I said it, we've people. writing to us every day asking about the shootings that took place earlier this year what's happening the shootings that took place in Maine and in Texas do you think this is going to become a bigger and bigger political issue because the American voter is going to demand transparency absolutely I mean just the fact that the public has moved on this issue the Overton window has moved on this in the last 18 months let's just think about this look at the types of people who are being recruited for ICE they are going after people who are not the types of folks who could could even be recruited for local police jobs or or local security jobs people who were rejected from those jobs you look at the story of the officer who's accused in Maine I mean his wife reported several instances of troubling behavior behavior that we wouldn't support in a Senate candidate but somehow but somehow yes but somehow we give that person a gun and we tell them to go out and to be in charge of life and death in our streets these these ICE officers who are committing crimes get disappeared by this administration, right? And federal prosecutors have resigned over this in Minnesota. And if you're not going to comply, they pull the federal prosecutor. They are making sure that these individuals, where they ramped up to hire 100,000 people in three months, which is insane for any organization. You can't vet that many people. That they are now putting the full force of the federal government around protecting the wrongdoers. Well, here's what I think, and Senator Andy Kim did this. I think it's- Jersey. There you go. Like the elected officials got to be part of it, got to go and protest, and yes. Delaney Hall, where there is still protests every night.
