The son of U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert was arrested in Colorado on Sunday on charges of sexual exploitation of a child, the Garfield County Sheriff's Office said. The sheriff's office on Monday announced deputies arrested Tyler Boebert, 21, of New Castle, on an arrest warrant for multiple charges. He faces three charges of sexual exploitation of a child, one for enticing or inducing, one for intent and one for videos. He also faces two charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. According to online court records, the charges stem from an incident that started on Jan. 1, 2024. His bond was set at $10,000, and he bonded out of the Garfield County Jail on Sunday. The sheriff's office did not release any details about what happened. Lauren Boebert, who represents Colorado's 4th congressional district, released a statement after the announcement of her son's arrest. "I love my son," Lauren Boebert said. "We take these allegations very seriously and pray for everyone affected during this challenging time."
