The son of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was arrested on child sexual exploitation charges related to an explicit video of a 17-year-old girl, Colorado authorities said on Monday. Tyler Boebert, 21, was arrested on Sunday and later released on a $10,000 bond, the Garfield County Sheriff's Office said without providing additional information. The investigation remains ongoing. He was charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to court records. The charges stem from a video he allegedly recorded, showing himself having sex with a 17-year-old in 2024 when he was 18. The video was posted on Instagram, which was discovered by the minor's mother. The affidavit does not say who allegedly posted the video.
