Drones attack Tatarstan: Nizhnekamsk oil refinery targeted – video
Drones attacked the city of Nizhnekamsk in Russia's Republic of Tatarstan on Monday 10 August, where one of the country's major oil refineries is located.

Details: According to monitoring Telegram channels, residents of Nizhnekamsk and Chistopol in Tatarstan reported seeing many drones flying over the cities.
Telegram channels also posted photos and videos from Nizhnekamsk showing UAVs and plumes of smoke.
Russian authorities have not yet commented on the situation.
Update: The authorities in Tatarstan later confirmed that Nizhnekamsk had come under a drone attack.
"The republic was subjected to another brutal attack by enemy UAVs this morning. A large-scale drone raid on the city of Nizhnekamsk is ongoing. The attack is targeting both industrial and civilian facilities," the statement said.
The authorities claim that there have been fatalities as a result of the attack.
For reference: Nizhnekamsk in Russia's Republic of Tatarstan is home to one of the country's largest and most modern petrochemical and oil-refining complexes, where two major businesses operate – TANECO, owned by Tatneft, and TAIF-NK – and production facilities belonging to Sibur. The industrial complex is a key part of Russia's fuel and energy infrastructure.
