Grassley Applauds Todd Blanche's Confirmation as Attorney General

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) issued a statement following the Senate's confirmation of Todd Blanche to be U.S. Attorney General, by a vote of 50-49. "America is safer with Todd Blanche at the helm of the Justice Department. Under his leadership, the United States' homicide rate fell to its lowest level in over 125 years. Every major violent crime category has fallen below pre-pandemic levels and violent crime arrests have increased 184%. In short, Americans are finally getting the justice they deserve."
