Trump told Fox News' Trace Gallagher tonight that Michigan Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers will beat likely Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed in November.
Based on the polls, he'll do much better against Abdul than he's going to do against the congresswoman, Trump said, referring to Rep. Elissa Slotkin, whom Rogers narrowly lost to in 2024. He added that while he's 'not a big believer in polls,' he 'believes in them somewhat.'
Rogers criticized his Democratic opponent in a speech at a Michigan GOP event just now, accusing him of being 'anti-American' and repeating without evidence that El-Sayed 'believed that America deserved 9/11.'
