# RFK Jr. rips CNN's Dana Bash: 'All you know how to do is repeat things people told you'

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. blasted CNN's Dana Bash over the U.S. government's COVID-19 response, saying, "All you know how to do is repeat things people told you."

"I've actually read the science," Kennedy said. "You're repeating things like a parrot. All you know how to do is repeat things that people told you and say 'trust the experts,' that's what you did during COVID. Now we know that Anthony Fauci, who was the 'expert,' was lying about everything," Kennedy said on CNN's State of the Union on Sunday.

Kennedy's comments come after Bash pressed Kennedy on whether his public comments contribute to vaccine hesitancy, arguing that vaccines remain among "the most studied things out there in science."

Kennedy rejected the premise, accusing the media of relying on government experts instead of independently examining the evidence.

Kennedy maintained that not only is it Bash's job to tell the truth to the American people, but to "maintain a posture of serious skepticism from government authority."
