Elon Musk PAC to spend big in midterm elections

Elon Musk's super PAC, America PAC, will complement the Republican 2026 campaign apparatus for November's midterm elections, months after the trillionaire threatened to start a third party at the pinnacle of his feud with President Donald Trump.

"The President's political team and the rest of the GOP apparatus have built a top notch operation that will put Republicans in a strong position to buck history and retain control of Congress this fall, and we're excited to again be part of the team," America PAC spokesman Andrew Romeo told the Washington Examiner.

America PAC announced on Thursday that Musk is preparing to spend upward of $120 million on his super PAC during the next 100 days, though he is not poised to campaign publicly as he did in 2024, when he spent more than $260 million helping Trump.
