Just this month, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley dropped out of the race, then re-entered it with an endorsement from Governor Evers once Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez ended her campaign — a move largely viewed as an effort to try and prevent Democratic Socialist Francesca Hong from becoming the Democratic nominee.
