'Press is going wld with me,' he wrote in his personal diary. 'The press are crucifying the POTUS for "not listening to me,"' he wrote, reveling in media coverage he said hailed him 'for sticking to my guns.' As U.S. deaths climbed over 10,000 on April 6, 2020, he wrote: 'Intense publicity about me continues with stories of grandmothers who have crushes on men. Petitions to vote me "Sexiest Man Alive." Major stories about my basketball career at Regis [high school].'
