Iran war: Houthis vow response to Saudi strikes on Hodeida

Iran's oil ministry says it sold $18 billion (nearly 16 billion euros) worth of oil during the conflict with the United States and Israel, as well as during the tenuous ceasefire.

"This covers more than 60% of the oil revenues forecast in the year's budget in the midst of the crisis," it added.

The claim contradicts a statement by Iran's parliament speaker and chief negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, who said in late June that Iran was unable to export any oil during the US blockade of its ports.
