09:45 GMT -- Iran rescues 28 Indian seafarers after vessel attacked: All 28 Indian crew members on board a Mozambique-flagged ship have been safely rescued after coming under attack near Iran's territorial waters. The tanker DISHA transmitted a distress signal after being targeted by "hostile forces" as it entered Iranian waters.

09:10 GMT -- Tanker 'incident' reported in Gulf of Oman: The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) says it received a report of an incident involving a tanker and military forces in the Gulf of Oman. The agency advised vessels in the area to review the latest maritime security information and stay aware of what it called an "evolving operational environment."

08:50 GMT -- Saudi Arabia intercepts missiles launched from Yemen: Saudi Arabia has intercepted two ballistic missiles launched from Yemen, a news report says. The missiles, shot down by a Greek-operated air defence system deployed in Saudi Arabia, targeted oil refineries in the western city of Yanbu, unnamed Greek security sources told Reuters news agency.

08:45 GMT -- Houthis say naval blockade is first step in 'blockade-for-blockade' campaign: A Houthi spokesperson says the group's naval blockade against Saudi Arabia is the first step in what he described as a "blockade-for-blockade" campaign. Mohammed Abdulsalam accused Saudi Arabia of using military action and economic pressure after what he described as the failure of its eight-year war in Yemen, and alleged the kingdom is seeking to recover its losses through an economic blockade. According to Al Masirah TV, he also accused Saudi Arabia of escalating the conflict by targeting Hodeidah, Kamaran Island, and Sanaa airport, and warned that any attacks on Yemen will be met with a response.
