The threats to President Donald Trump and his administration are growing rapidly.

The Secret Service has investigated approximately 10,000 threats against its protectees, including President Trump, in the first half of this year, the head of the agency revealed Wednesday, according to The New York Post.

"The numbers are numbers that this agency and certainly I have never seen in my 24-year career," Secret Service Director Sean Curran told reporters, painting a chilling picture of an increasingly hostile political environment. In the first half of 2025, the agency opened roughly 7,000 cases.

Curran defended the security apparatus, insisting "the system worked" when agents stopped Allen before he could make it in the ballroom. Yet, the relentless barrage of target-painting on the president's back raises urgent questions about the toxic political atmosphere.
