Voters who backed President Trump in the presidential election are dropping their support for the U.S.-Israeli conflict in Iran given its costs, according to a new poll, which found support from MAGA voters falling by 13 points. A Politico poll released Wednesday asked voters whether the war should continue even if it increases costs in the U.S. It found that 50 percent of voters who backed Trump supported the war even if it increases costs in the U.S. in May, compared to 37 percent in July. Nearly 1 in 5 MAGA voters say the U.S. should end the war regardless of the costs. The poll showed 37 percent of MAGA voters say the war should only continue if it does not increase costs in the U.S., an 8-percent increase from May.
