Talarico, Ossoff Bankrolled by 'Epstein Class' Billionaires

July 21, 2026

James Talarico and Jon Ossoff have made vilifying the Epstein class and corporate billionaires a key tenet of their campaigns to "get money out of our politics"—but new reporting reveals both Democrats rely on donations from Epstein-linked billionaires like Reid Hoffman.

"James Talarico and Jon Ossoff claim the moral high ground while cashing checks from the very 'Epstein class' billionaires they condemn—proving their fight against corruption is nothing more than a campaign talking point," said NRSC National Press Secretary Bernadette Breslin.

Hoffman has poured millions into Talarico's political operation and contributed the maximum legal amount to Ossoff's campaign:

"Meanwhile, Hoffman, a co-founder of LinkedIn who has previously admitted to spending a night on Epstein's Caribbean island, has heavily invested in both campaigns. In the Texas Senate race, Hoffman has donated a whopping $11.5 million to the Talarico-aligned super political action committee (PAC), Lone Star Rising, according to the Texas Tribune. The outlet said the billionaire investor sunk $10 million to the PAC in June alone, accounting for nearly 80% of the group's second-quarter fundraising. In Georgia, Hoffman donated the maximum legal amount, $7,000, to Ossoff's campaign for the 2025-2026 cycle."
