British prosecutors have issued 38 new criminal charges against Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan after the pair were arrested in Miami on Saturday by federal officials on rape charges and an outstanding warrant in the United Kingdom. Attorney Joseph McBride said “the world knows Andrew and Tristan are innocent” and characterized the charges as a “political hit.” The brothers continue to deny all wrongdoing and accuse British authorities of unfairly targeting them. The brothers now face a combined total of 59 charges. Andrew Tate was charged with 19 counts “related to illegal child images and pornography” alongside previous charges of rape and human trafficking involving three women (10 total counts). Tristan Tate previously faced 11 counts tied to one woman.
