Social media influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami on Saturday after British prosecutors announced a new series of criminal charges and sought their extradition to the United Kingdom. The brothers, who have amassed millions of followers online through content promoting misogynistic views, were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in Miami on Saturday. Andrew Tate faces seven additional counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and 19 charges related to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography, and previously faced 10 charges. Tristan Tate faces one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, and previously faced 11 charges.
