Bangkok pub fire under investigation after 27 people killed early Monday morning. A devastating fire at the Na Ladprao pub in Bangkok early Monday resulted in at least 27 fatalities and several injuries. Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul confirmed the death toll and stated that the cause of the inferno is currently under investigation. A musician performing at the venue reported seeing smoke from a circuit breaker, followed by a power outage and an explosion, before thick smoke filled the pub. Many of the victims were discovered in the restrooms located at the rear of the establishment, according to the Prime Minister. This tragedy follows previous fatal pub fires in Thailand, including incidents in 2022 that killed 14 and a 2009 New Year's Eve blaze that claimed 66 lives.
